I spend every day (all day) creating unique items on the glass bench.  I start with an idea, design it on the computer, create it, photograph it, and post it for sale in the shopping cart or deliver/ship it to the job site.  It's very rewarding to be able to make such beautiful items.  We've shipped items all around the the United States and the world, including Argentina, Japan, and Spain.  I encourage uniqueness and accept commissioned work  I update the website regularly, showing the new pieces created.  I enjoy creating custom pieces - let me know what you want and I will create a one-of-a-kind for you.

Artisan Studios International - 1997-1999

Trainer, Web Designer, Consultant

Independent trainer for DMACC (Des Moines Area Community College) for web design (FrontPage) and HTML classes.  Created a variety of websites for businesses, technical writing & documentation, custom training for businesses in Midwest, stained glass designer and artist, architectural millwork assistant. Merged with Wildwood Studios/Glass with a Mission spring 2001.  

Compu-T.E.A.C.H., Inc., dba Productivity Point Int’l - 1991–1998

Owner/Manager

n     Launched & developed a successful computer training center with four full-time classrooms. Managing all aspects of owning, managing, employing and growing a million-dollar business.

n     Developed courseware and trained all levels of software including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, accounting, presentation, drawing & layout as well as client specific software and provided technical support. Specialized in drawing and layout programs for the publishing and printing industry.

n     Managed talented staff and helped them develop their technical abilities, communication skills and training talents.

n     Became a Productivity Point franchise in 1995 to offer my clients nation-wide locations, high quality, and consistency between locations. (Sold the franchise 3/98)
