Studio use is available
every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoons from 1pm - 4:30pm for those who want to work on a project during non-class
hours (you must bring your own tools or consumable
supplies). A teacher will not be available to help or answer questions. Please call to check on
space
availability. Tool rental is available for $10 and a grinder usage fee of
$10 will be charged if you need to use the grinders or saws.

Take
your box to the next level and make it a music box! You must already
know how to make boxes or attend our box class prior to this course.
In the morning we will make the box (we suggest you bring your box assembly
tray), then add the music (and turn-table mechanism) and embellish it in the
afternoon. Supplies required will be glass for your box, your pattern &
supplies for embellishment, and a music mechanism (turn table is
optional). (approx. $15 - $25).
5 hours - $40 (+ supplies) (or 2 class coupons) . 9am - 3:30pm. You're
welcome to stay and work on your project after 3:30 if needed.
Kool Kaleidoscopes:
(prior glass experience required - Intermediate - Advanced)
Come and make a kaleidoscope from a kit.
Supplies required include glass and kaleidoscope kit (approx. $15). 4 hours -
$45 (or 2 class coupons).
Chemical Etching:
(no experience necessary)
Personalize
your projects and gifts using stencils and etching cream. Several projects
will be completed using the rub-on stencils and creating your own. We
will also discuss adding color to your etched projects. Supplies required
include a complete etching kit & bevels or glass to etch on (approx. $25). 3

3-Dimensional
Snowflakes:

These
are fun and easy to make using bevels and straight-cut pieces of glass!
Cut your glass, foil the pieces and learn how to easily assemble and decorate
these beautiful hangings! Supplies required include bevels & glass

Frustrated
with bad breaks and difficult shapes? This intensive hands-on course
discusses tips and techniques in getting a good score, a clean break, and
working with difficult shapes. Bring your glass cutter, runner &
grozier pliers, and OF COURSE, safety glasses! We will supply clear
float glass for practice - which you will get lots of! 3 hours -

Picture Frames:

These
make wonderful (and fast) gifts! Using 1" glass strips and bevel
corners, create a beautiful 5" x 7" picture frame to compliment your
pictures. We will show you how to efficiently use 1/8" zinc for your
border and secure the back. Supplies required include glass, bevels, and
picture frame back and zinc (approx. $10-$15). 3 hours - $20 (or one
class coupon)
All through the
night - Night Lights:

Come and
learn how to quickly and easily create simple yet elegant night lights (makes
great gifts!) We will have several designs available, as well as
decorating and adding overlays to make each personal and unique. Or
select one of our pre-cut kits to save time. Materials required will be
glass for each night light (bring your scraps!) and night light kit for each
night light you make (may be able to complete more than one (approx. $5 per

Stained Glass: Intro to Foil
Method: $65 + tools, supplies & materials (approx. $125-$150)
Designed for new students.
Learn the fine art of creating your very own beautiful stained glass pieces.
Project will be a small hanging panel. You choose from the patterns
available and work at
your own pace with help from the instructor when needed. Class length: 4 -
3 hour sessions (or 4 class coupons).

Stained Glass Etching: $175
Designed for new or experienced glass
students that want to learn how to etch. Topics will examine the process
of etching; chemical vs. abrasive blasting; stencil creation & application;
and the etching process using both chemical and abrasive blasting. Class
length 6 hours. Several projects will be completed during this
day-long class. Price includes all materials including etching cream,
stencils, and glass/mirror.
Topics include:
You should bring the following items with you to class: Safety glasses,
an apron or smock, tools & supplies when required. PLEASE - no open
toe shoes!
